Starting CrossFit
What is CrossFit?Crossfit is the strength and conditioning program that is revolutionizing the fitness industry. The program achieves phenomenal fitness results by using constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. CrossFit is ideal for those who seek General Physical Preparedness and all the way up to elite fitness. CrossFit One World is one of the premier CrossFit affiliates on the West Coast. CrossFit focuses on the ten primary components of fitness and we believe that the more balances you are across each domain the more fit you are.
CrossFit is scalable for every one no matter your age, injury, or condition. Every work out we do can be scaled to accommodate what you are able to do. The need for physical movement for a grandparent or elite athlete only varies in degree of power out put, not type of movement.
On Ramp or Private sessionsIn order to start taking regularly scheduled CrossFit classes you will first need to go through our On Ramp program or three private sessions with a certified trainer. On Ramp lasts 4 weeks and meets 3 times a week and is the best way to prepare you for the regular Crossfit classes. The introductory private sessions are three 1 hour sessions with one of our CrossFit instructors. Both On Ramp and the Private sessions are included in the Enrollment fee and does not cost extra.
